What is Redemption?
When a prediction market resolves (the outcome is known), your shares can be redeemed:- Winning shares are worth $1.00 each โ you can redeem them for USDC
- Losing shares are worth $0.00 โ they expire automatically
How It Works
Market resolves
The market outcome is determined (e.g., โYesโ wins). This can take minutes to days depending on the event and any disputes.
Position becomes redeemable
A Redeem banner appears on your Portfolio page showing your redeemable positions and their total value.
Auto-Redeem
FrenFlow can automatically redeem winning positions as soon as markets resolve:- Go to Settings โ Trading
- Enable Auto-Redeem
Manual Redemption
If you prefer to redeem manually:- Go to Portfolio โ Positions
- Redeemable positions show a green Redeem card at the top
- Click Redeem on each position, or Redeem All
/positions with a Redeem button.

Redemption is a blockchain transaction on Polygon. It typically completes in 5โ30 seconds. Your balance updates once the transaction confirms.

No. Losing shares (worth $0) expire automatically. Theyโll disappear from your portfolio after the market resolves. No action needed.

Once a market resolves, the orderbook closes โ no more buyers or sellers. The only way to collect your winnings is to redeem.

Some markets go through a dispute/voting process via UMA Oracle before resolving. During disputes, you cannot redeem. Once voting completes and the market settles, redemption becomes available.

No. Redemption is free โ you receive the full $1.00 per winning share. Gas fees on Polygon are negligible (fractions of a cent).
